PBR Two Way Radio (licenced)
Private Business Radio (PBR) requires the user to obtain a licence in respect of each system or radio channel to be used.
PBR systems vary from simple on-site handportable radios with a range of 1/4 mile or so, to complex systems with multiple remote base stations.
As part of the service offered by Pennine Telecom, we will liaise with the OFCOM on all matters relating to licencing.
Licencing typically takes two to three weeks to complete.

Key Features:
Lone Worker
Lone Worker is a feature of the Motorola Professional Series radios. The feature is activated when a radio user works on their own or is a vulnerable location, giving added security and safety for individuals working remotely from their team.
Lone Worker Plus
This incorporates a voice option board which allows the user to pre-record their name and location. If the alarm is activated, this message is automatically transmitted to control room or the back-up team.
Man Down Option
In addition to the Lone Worker, the Man Down option will sound an alarm if the user collapses, the radio detects when the radio moves from the vertical position. An alert beep is given first to give the user the opportunity to respond to the alert. If the user does not respond to the alert then an alarm is sent to the control room.
Dedicated Emergency Button
A high visibility button on the top of the radio which sends out an immediate alarm when pressed.
