Simon Jersey – Company mobiles
Pennine saves Simon Jersey thousands on mobile costs
MOBILE phone charges can be a significant cost for any firm, so saving 20% on line rental and 60% on international calls, as well as having free calls between company mobiles, has got to be an attractive proposition.
Simon Jersey, the UK’s premier supplier of corporate clothing, was previously with Orange but the directors felt that Vodafone offered better customer service and, importantly, more comprehensive signal coverage.
They also believed there could be cost savings by switching providers. They called in Pennine Telecom who estimated they could save in the region of £3,000 a month by switching to Vodafone.
“The savings on international calls was a prime driver in the move,” said Laura Malone, the Company Buyer. Simon Jersey has 200 staff based at the company’s headquarters in Altham, East Lancashire, and deals with customers and suppliers worldwide as well as having an extensive customer base in this country.
Pennine signed the company up to Vodafone’s Sharetime tariff for 14,000 minutes with the added bonus that the free calls between mobiles do not come out of the main bundle.
